Our mission is to carry to the message of hope and freedom to people in recovery through kayaking. We believe that the beauty and tranquility of the natural world offers profound opportunities for self-reflection, personal growth and healing. Who we are
We are husband and wife, who both experienced recovery from addiction through a deep rooted faith in the power of God. Mark spent most of his career as a sportfish captain, running boats in Hawaii, Texas and Florida. Tamara has operated a sea kayak tour company in Maine for twenty years. We are both registered sea kayak guides in Maine and outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy kayaking, fishing, sailing and fitness.
Experience
With twenty years experience guiding various school, college and camp groups, we have developed methods of instruction for first time paddlers from diverse backgrounds. Our students quickly gain confidence and leave with a sense of achievement.
